The district will host a Walk-In Enrollment at Seaman Middle School from 3:00-7:00 pm on August 1 for all schools. Laptops will be available for those who need assistance completing online enrollment. Booths will also be set up to assist with health, food service, and transportation questions. If you have successfully completed online enrollment and you have no questions, there is no need to attend walk-in enrollment.


Please complete online enrollment by August 1!

Schedule changes will NOT be part of walk-in enrollment. Students who need to speak to a counselor about schedule changes will need to email or visit their school building on designated days. Students will NOT receive their laptop during walk-in enrollment. Student laptops will be distributed on designated days according to the back-to-school calendar.


What WILL be at Walk-in Enrollment

  • Enroll new students who have not completed online enrollment
  • Preschool information
  • Transportation department questions 
  • Apply for free & reduced lunch/fees
  • Meet with food service
  • Pay fees
  • Meet with a school nurse
  • Sign up for the Topeka North Outreach Backpack program
  • Sign up for Boys and Girls Club after school programing
  • Use a laptop to enroll online
  • Meet with special education services
  • Sign up for Parents as Teachers
  • Drop off forms
  • Help signing up for Schoology

What WILL NOT be at Walk-in Enrollment

  • SMS and SHS schedule changes 
  • Purchase a student SHS parking pass (order online)
  • Student laptop check-outs (SMS laptops will be checked out during school, SHS laptops will be checked out Aug 9-11)
  • Purchase SHS athletic passes (Available at SHS office beginning Aug 1)

Note: Enrollment must be completed by August 4 in order to get bussing on the first day of school.
